From intimate affairs with only your closest family members, to venue-filling celebrations, we've got you covered. We will always put the same amount of care into 50 dishes as we do with five. Q. Am I limited to what is on your menu listing?
No, we can customize menus to meet your needs and suit your taste preference. We offer a diverse range of menu items, all carefully and deliciously executed. Q. Can you help me with selecting a venue?
Rockman's Catering has been providing quality service to the community since 1983, we are deeply rooted in the Portage Co. as well as surrounding areas. Ask about our relationships with local venues.
Q. Can you accommodate allergies?
Of course! We understand sometimes guests have dietary restrictions and allergies that can be very serious.
Q. How much should I order for my event?
That is a great question! This is where our years of experience will guide you. We want to ensure that there is enough food for all of your guests. However, we will let you know if you are ordering too much food.
Q. How far in advance do I have to book wedding catering?
Many couples book as early as a year in advance or more! To ensure that your date is available, the sooner you call the better. If you are unsure of the initial guest count and/or other details it is still a good idea to begin the process earlier rather than later.
Q. What is included in wedding catering?
Our wedding catering includes real dishes, tableware, linens, cloth napkins, staffing (when ordering off of the dinner or station menus) and of course, delicious food! If you are interested in a ordering from our many other menus, but would like real dishes, tableware, linens, cloth napkins, or staffing, please feel free to call or email us. We would be happy to customize a quote for you. Not all catering companies offer the same packages. Be sure to ask which items are included.
Q. Are tastings free?
Yes... and No! We charge $5/entree but this cost is deducted from your final bill if you select us as your caterer.
Q. Should I tip a caterer? How much?
Our invoices include a "Service Charge" which is divided by all the staff. Many people choose to add an additional gratuity for good service.
